Dr. Walter Liao

Dr. Walter Liao is a highly trained and gifted surgeon that specializes in cosmetic eyelid surgery. He is certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada— the regulatory authority in charge of maintaining standards of quality.

Dr. Liao earned his medical degree from the University of Western Ontario and completed a fellowship in ophthalmic pathology at the University of Ottawa, followed by a five year ophthalmology residency at Queens University. He further advanced his training specializing in Asian eyelid surgery in Korea, Taiwan, and Japan.

In order to keep up with the most recent advances in Asian aesthetic surgery, Dr. Liao travels to Asia to attend conferences and meetings, as well as meet with local surgeons to learn new and improved techniques. This allows his patients the convenience and comfort of staying in Canada, where there are very high regulatory standards, while getting the most up to date and advanced surgical techniques from Asia.

As a Toronto native, Dr. Liao is pleased to bring the highest levels of cosmetic surgery from Asia to Toronto and the surrounding GTA.
